“The owner is a very talented seamstress, but does not publish fees charged or an estimate for the cost of alterations. Alteration fees are excessive!” -

Tailoring by Rhonda Incorporated
Does not admit mistakes
“I had used Rhonda several years ago and was satisfied with her work. Recently I needed two bridesmaid dresses altered. My daughters (college students) live out of town and when they came back for the fitting, both dresses were too tight in the chest. When I brought the dresses back to Rhonda, she insisted that she didn't touch the zipper on one of the dresses even though I was charged $35 on both for this alteration. She went on to tell me that girls gain and loose weight all the time. The only thing is that both of my daughters are very thin and everywhere else she altered fit perfect. She then went on to tell me that my girls must have gained weight in their breast area! Boy, what good genetics my girls have, huh? She refused to admit her mistake and refused to give me back any refund. She charged me $111.00 for each dress to alter. One of my daughters was able to come back to have the chest taken out, but one couldn't make it. So, I ended up having to use the tailor at the bridal shop who charged me $36 to correct. When I told them how much I paid the first time for all the mistakes, they were shocked. \nSo, long story short, beware of this woman. She is not honest.” -

Adrian The Shoe Master and Alterations
Master Craftsman & Person
“I was in a real bind needing a leather briefcase repaired ASAP. I could not find one decent repair facility in town. I finally came across Adrian in the phonebook and he immediately sensed my urgency. He told me he could do the job while I waited. He beautifully repaired the briefcase by hand and noone could tell. His price was fantastic. You could not find a better shoe or bag repair shop or a nicer guy. Thanks Adrian!!!!!!! ” -

Island Tailor “What a surprise. We were on vacation on Pine Island, and I needed a dinner dress altered. I was worried the island would not have someone that could do a hem on a dress with delicate sequins, and then I met Sue. She is the owner and I instantly could tell she knew her stuff. She was able to do the work and get it back to me for dinner that night. It was PERFECT! Thanks again Sue!”
